Christmas Santa Parade and Fireworks Display

As the parade concludes at the Founders Park, the sky lights up with a dazzling fireworks display, creating a magical atmosphere. Brothers Porketta

A locally beloved fundraiser held three times a year during the colder months, bringing warmth and camaraderie to the community. These events feature a delicious feast of roasted pork, roasted potatoes, and trimmings to create a hearty meal that draws people together. In addition to the mouth-watering food, attendees can participate in exciting 50/50 raffles and item auctions, adding an element of fun and anticipation. These gatherings not only support the organization’s charitable efforts but also foster a sense of unity and shared purpose among Mendon residents.

A highly attended annual event that showcases a stunning array of classic and modern vehicles, drawing car enthusiasts from near and far. Held in a festive atmosphere, the event features meticulously restored vintage cars, sleek sports cars, and unique custom builds, offering something for every automotive aficionado. Attendees can enjoy music and food and the chance to vote for their favorite cars in various categories. Candidates Night

A cornerstone event in the town’s civic calendar. Held annually, this forum provides a platform for residents to meet and engage with candidates running for local office. The Brothers take pride in organizing this event, fostering transparency and informed voting within the community. Each year, they challenge candidates to present their visions and answer questions from the public, ensuring a lively and informative discussion. The event underscores the Brothers’ commitment to civic duty and community involvement, making it a vital part of Mendon’s democratic process.

Get ready for a night of frightful fun at the Spooktacular Halloween Party! This 21 and over event promises to be a ghoulishly good time with raffles offering exciting prizes, live music to keep you dancing all night, a cash bar with your favorite drinks, a delicious food buffet to satisfy your cravings, and a costume contest with fantastic prizes for the best costumes. Come dressed in your best costume and join us for a night of spooky fun, with all proceeds benefiting the Santa Parade Fireworks, helping us light up the sky this holiday season.

Brothers Polar Plunge

 An exhilarating and bone chilling annual event (weather permitting) that challenges brave participants to take a daring leap into the icy waters of Lake Nipmuc. Held during the heart of winter, this thrilling fundraiser draws a spirited crowd, eager to support a good cause while witnessing the bold plungers in action. Participants, often dressed in creative costumes, jump into a hole cut in the ice, creating a spectacle of courage and community spirit.

Brothers Ice Fishing Derby

A wonderful annual event (weather permitting) that brings the community together for a day of fun and friendly competition on Nipmuc Pond. Participants of all ages gather early in the morning. The derby features categories for bass, perch, and pickerel, with prizes awarded based on the weight and length of the fish. The event emphasizes conservation, requiring all fish to be weighed live and released back into the pond. With a 50/50 raffle and a family-friendly atmosphere, the Ice Fishing Derby is a highlight of the winter season, fostering camaraderie and community spirit

Taft Library Cardboard Boat Race

A highlight of the summer, drawing creative and competitive spirits from all over the community. The Mendon Brothers of the Brush are known for their spirited participation, always challenging another team to a friendly duel on the water. The stakes are high, as the losing challenger donates to a charity of their choice, adding a philanthropic twist to the fun.

Horribles Parade

At the end of the march, the Brothers add a sweet touch by sponsoring an ice cream truck, ensuring everyone can enjoy a refreshing treat.
